4/8 Los Angeles - School Night!
Unabashedly emotional, McCall’s lyrics and music tell you all you need to know about the brutally bold and honest 20 year old artist. Born and raised in Atlanta, McCall spent her teen years playing open mics and songwriter showcases in Southern blues clubs like Eddie’s Attic. Sometimes the youngest in the room by a decade or more, her survival in the scene depended on living by her incessant mantra “Make Noise,” an appeal to young women and men everywhere to speak their minds and be bold even when it feels like the world may not be listening.
At 18, McCall moved to Los Angeles to attend USC’s Popular Music Program, where she refined her sound by melding her traditional blues background with contemporary pop and electronic influences. Following up collaborations with MYRNE, Grant, MELVV, and her in-your-face debut single “Why I’m Here,” her debut EP Under the Reign showcases the whole range of her own brand of guitar-laden alternative pop. The EP has garnered praise from the likes of The Fader, HOLR Magazine, and NewNowNext.

“Bubbling with venom and perfectly cut with McCall’s silky vocals, the elements combine to create an upbeat pop banger with dark undertones.” - HOLR Magazine on “Stone Cold”
